CrowdStrike Falcon

CrowdStrike Falcon is an AntiVirus (AV) software that provides next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and targeted attack prevention that helps to secure Windows and Mac systems by looking for Indicators of Attack (IoA) instead of detecting known malware and Indicators of Compromise (IoC).

All computers must have CrowdStrike Falcon installed in order to access Specialized resources including email, Teams, Slack, and other SSO applications.

Choose the appropriate antivirus software for your device:

Mac Installation Instructions

  • Download the CrowdStrike Falcon installer from link above.
  • Launch the downloaded file
    • In the Finder on your Mac, locate the FalconSensor .pkg file
    • Important: Control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
    • Click Open.
  • When prompted, enter the username and password of an account with admin rights on the computer and click Install Software
  • Click Allow in the Falcon Network Content popup

  • Click Open System Settings in the System Extension Blocked popup

  • Click the Allow button below: System software from application "Falcon"

  • Click the System Settings button next to Full Disk Access not granted

  • In Full Disk Access, next to Falcon Sensor click the slider to the right, then enter username and password.

  • Close the Full Disk Access Window and click Continue
  • You should see the following, click Finish

  • You are done! After installation, the software will run silently.

Duo Desktop

Duo Desktop is an application that performs a health check on your computer. Duo Device Health checks for the following before allowing your device to access Specialized resources:

All computers must have Duo Desktop installed in order to access Specialized resources including email, Teams, Slack, and other SSO applications.
